Teamfight Tactics Patch 9.14 arrived on July 17. New features include champion - Twisted Fate, ranked games, changed balance, and also fixed bugs.
Twisted Fate costs 2 gold and has 2 classes — Pirate and Sorcerer. The TF "Select Card" ability randomly stuns the enemy (gold card), deals damage to the area (red card), or restores mana to itself and its nearest allies (blue card).
The ranked game allows players to test how good they are at the game. The ranking system looks like in League of Legends - being Diamond in TFT should be similar to being Diamond in LoL, and only the best players should be able to reach Challenger.
As TFT features eight individual players rather than two teams, therefore LPs (points that increase rank) are awarded for getting into the top-4. Also in the TFT, there is no promotional series. Players ranked Gold or below can queue with a group of up to five, while Platinum and above can only queue with up to three.
Also, most of the items and champions in the game were changed.
