Gaming companies donated daily proceeds from sales on PC and mobile devices to charity. GamesIndustry.biz notes that 75 organizations raised 592 thousand dollars (about 36.5 million rubles).
One Special Day campaign was hosted by British charity SpecialEffect, which helps gamers with disabilities gain gaming experience.
SpecialEffect will spend on creating adaptive controllers and other peripherals for people with disabilities.
