The PlayStation has made it onto the Guinness Book of Records as the best-selling home console brand in the world. November 7, Sony sold more than 450 million game consoles. The statistics included sales of the following consoles: PlayStation, PS2, PS3, and PS4.
The company announced that it entered the Guinness Book of Records on the 25th anniversary of the original PlayStation and thanked everyone on Twitter.
Sony plans to release the PlayStation 5 before the end of 2020.
