SingSing's new team and a revamped Team Fire

Artem Uarabei

The open qualifier is fast approaching with over 350 teams currently signed up, including a another new roster for Team Fire and Burden United featuring former members of Team Tinker, Zephyr, Alliance and Moscow 5 International.

Former Cloud 9 and Team Tinker member WehSing 'SingSing' Yuen looks to be trying to make his way back into the competitive scene with a new team after Burden United appeared in the list of teams for the ESL One Frankfurt open qualifier.

The team which is just made for competition, appears to be led by Romanian veteran Craciunescu 'ComeWithMe' Alexandru who has a vast history in both versions of Dota and featuring appearances for Dota 2 teams Team Dignitas, Darer, Mouz and a brief time with the former-Cloud 9 team Kaipi.

Completing the roster are former-Zephyr offlaner Alaan 'SexyBamboe' Faraj, brief Alliance member Johan 'Mynuts' Andersson and former-M5 International carry Selim 'Neqroman' Oynar.

The open qualifier is due to begin on February 24th and with over 350 teams competing - but only four will proceed to the main European qualifier. The teams signed up include Meepwn'd, 4 Anchors, London Conspiracy, hehe united, GOOMBA Gaming, 4FC and GameOnline.

The qualifier allows American teams to compete but are forced to play on the Luxemberg servers. The main team to use this rule to their advantage are Team Fire. The disbandment rumoured team, who recently saw Chris 'Ush' Usher and Brian 'FLUFFNSTUFF' Lee apparently leave the team and the current roster playing under a new name of Champions of Summer's Rift.

Now it seems the team could be reforming yet again with a new roster, with Mike 'ixmike88' Ghannam and FLUFFNSTUFF back with the team and featuring highly rated carry BananaSlamJamma, former-Sneaky Nyx Assassins support Bryant 'whiteBeard' Lehwald and Canadian pubstar and recent CompLexity Gaming tryout Dragonfist completing the roster.

With the team changing roster so many times since the start of the year, will this be a long term roster for the struggling American team?
