Sports Center Aspire Zone in collaboration with Wega will hold eSports tournaments as part of Qatar Aspire Wega World Cup.

The event got a bold title “World Cup”, however, it’s obvious that it is not a world cup even though the tournament has an impressive prize pool. Curiously, the tournaments will be held in 2022 just before FIFA World Cup.

Prize pool distribution hasn’t been announced yet but main disciplines were made known: Dota 2, League of Legends, Fortnite and FIFA.

The Finals will be held in the stadium with capacity of 80,000 spectators in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
